About Us

Our story is one of connection, transformation, and shared passion

United by Yoga, Inspired by Life

It all began over ten years ago in the coastal town of Peñíscola, where two paths crossed on the yoga mat.

What began as a student-teacher relationship blossomed into a friendship and a shared vision. Together, they created the Asana Association in Peñíscola — a space to learn, grow, and reconnect through yoga, movement, and presence.

I grew up dancing — it was my whole world. I started at the age of four and eventually became a professional dancer, dedicating my life to an art form that demands constant discipline, perfection, and external validation. For years, I lived in a world where I was constantly judged, always pushing, always striving. On the outside, I was achieving my dream… but inside, I began to feel disconnected, lost — and deeply unhappy. Letting go of that life was one of the hardest and most painful decisions I’ve ever made. It felt like losing my identity, like everything I had been was gone. For a while, I didn’t know who I was without dance.

Then, on a trip to India, I discovered yoga. And little by little, through consistent practice, I began to soften. I began to listen. Yoga gave me a space to forgive, to accept, and ultimately, to come home to myself.

That’s why I believe so deeply in the power of these retreats. Sometimes, we need to pause — to look within, ask ourselves what we truly want, and allow ourselves to begin again. Like the phoenix rising from its ashes, we, too, can be reborn.

Yoga has transformed and healed me from the inside out, and it’s an honor to now share this practice with others. Especially in a world that’s increasingly disconnected from nature, from stillness, and from our own truth — I believe yoga is a powerful way back.

If you feel the call to reconnect, to realign, or simply to breathe more deeply… come and join us, we will love to wellcome

Andrea Clotet

Since I was a child, I always found it easier to express myself through movement than through words. I danced, did rhythmic gymnastics, painted, created with my hands — anything that allowed me to feel and connect on a deeper level. Nature, animals, and adventure were my constant companions. But like many, I followed the path that was expected of me — university, work, responsibility — always moving forward, but not always knowing where I was going.

For years, I lived a life that looked “right” on the outside, yet something inside me felt missing. The things that once made me feel alive slowly faded into the background. I lost touch with my passions, my creativity, my inner spark.

It was during one of the hardest periods of my life, after deep personal loss and an identity crisis, that I discovered yoga — thanks to Sabrina, who had just returned from India and began sharing her practice in our hometown. Through yoga, I began to come back to myself — to my body, my breath, my essence. Yoga taught me to pause, to feel, to heal, and to soften into who I truly am.

Then I realized that real change doesn’t happen outside — it begins within.

After years of personal practice and deep transformation, I felt a strong calling to take the next step. I decided to train as a yoga teacher, to support others on their journey — to help them reconnect, rediscover themselves, and transform from the inside out, just as I did. Because I believe that when we feel aligned within, everything around us begins to flow.

If you’re looking for that reconnection, that moment to breathe, to realign and remember who you truly are — We’d love to welcome you.

Why in Peñíscola?

Peñíscola is our hometown — where we grew up, where we met, and where this dream took root. A magical place where sea, mountains, and history come together with a unique energy we wish to share.

A Place with History

We are deeply in love with our town. We believe it is a unique gem, a place where history, culture, and nature come together in perfect harmony.

There’s something truly magical about this land, and we feel grateful every day to be able to share it with you this place of transformation.

A Vision Brought to Life

We believe transformation doesn’t come from striving, but from softening. From remembering who we are — through movement, through nature, through silence.

Our path is golden — not just because it feels luxurious, but because it reflects the light we’re all capable of discovering within.

Where Harmony Meets the Sea

Between the gentle waves of the Mediterranean and the quiet strength of the surrounding mountains, Peñíscola offers the perfect balance of nature, peace, and beauty.

A place where body and soul find space to breathe, rest, and reconnect. Here, nature holds you -and something within you begins to soften.

A Crossroads of Cultures

Peñíscola has been home to multiple cultures throughout history: from the Templars to the Arabs and Romans, each civilization has left its mark here.

We want to continue this tradition of cultural convergence, but through yoga, attracting people from all over the world to share this unique experience.

Our Goal

Our purpose is to create an exclusive retreat that blends the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of yoga with the natural beauty, peaceful atmosphere, and cultural richness of Peñíscola—offering a transformative experience where nature, historical architecture, and the sea become the perfect setting for inner peace, harmony, and deep renewal.

We want to continue this tradition of cultural convergence, but through yoga, attracting people from all over the world to share this unique experience.

We believe no one had explored this possibility in the area and felt the need to open a space for those seeking well-being, connection, and growth in a magical setting.
